dude, you sold into bagholders for at least $3-4M. Your own screenshots from your medium post do not vindicate you – it makes you look 100x worse.

I sold when I sold. Long before when people lost money because of Alan’s tweet. Unrelated events. This is why I will not hide.

New UX is finished except for some new pages on main yearn site.

If you want to take it, modify it, hand it over to someone, do whatever you want with it, it’s entirely your call.

  • includes 11 languages
  • 3 skins
  • APY calc can be removed on request
  • new yearn site product pages can be added on request
  • or you can throw it away or diy, your call.

The NEW concept has been mostly developed, however mentioned previously it seemed most appropriate to keep the spirit of how it’s already done, and bring the best of the new ideas over to it, in order to least interrupt current workflows. Happy to also package and hand all those assets over (whatever has been developed + complete figma projects).

I don’t think the new design is an improvement compared to the current on prod, if anything I think is a downgrade.

Replacement icons are not a good choice, type is not great, on the light theme the replacement of outline strokes for background shadow on the cards is not an improvement and the glow added on the dark theme is extremely poorly executed to the point that is just too much.

Some of the funds from treasury should be used to hire a good designer that has delivered previously on a project on crypto. If this person also does frontend that would be amazing, small details like animations and constraining some parts of the design because of mobile are better handle by a hybrid guy.

I know you guys have already a team starting on handling the branding which should provide a few standards for usage of colours, type, visuals and what not.

If you hire a good designer and provide him with all the guidelines I mentioned above, imagine what one can achieve in terms of speed when iterating with the UX/UI of new products if we use create components for the design as well (because they can be re-used elsewhere) plus the speed that a properly tuned figma team with libraries sharing between themselves allows for experimentation and as a source of truth for others to refer to is something else.

Please don’t rush things pushing out a design because we want to design in prod, the same way you don’t rush a new strat just like that. Build the foundations with the system i mention and then yes iterate like crazy and ship fast. If we change too much or don’t have the same language everywhere it will only confuse people.

If you guys need an extra hand in creating a design system for the multiple interfaces let me know, I don’t want to get in the way if you guys have a team already on this but can help with this because yearn is life.

We can launch the V2 version first, and then V3 to continuously optimize, instead of directly from V2 to v3, when can we vote?

i’m gonna go on a limb here and say let’s throw

I might be the unpopular opinion here but I actually like the current UI. It is clean, simple, and concise. But it appears many in the community want a new site. That being said I believe the multi-sig will be overseeing a UX/UI revamp with a design firm/designer of their choosing.

I like the design, very clean and well put together

I agree with those that prefer the current website over this new layout. It doesn’t really add much compared to what we have in prod already. Instead, what is required is a complete overhaul of the UI/UX and it should be done by a top team with lots of experience in that space.
This proposal doesn’t give me the ‘hell yes’ feeling that I want when entering yearn.

I am with those that believe that we should have a comprehensive UI overhaul that looks professional.
