[Proposal] [Poll] Create a Yearn Team page where we can see what both paid and volunteering individuals are handling in the ecosystem

Create a Yearn Team page where we can see what both paid and volunteering individuals are handling in the ecosystem.

The “Yearn Team” table could show up here, below the vaults: https://yearn.finance/stats. Or it could be linked in the “Community” part of the footer.

Paid team members should have their salary displayed.

If anyone wants to be added to the Team page, just submit a pull request here: GitHub - yearn/iearn-finance: Web repository. Or use said page to see who is handling updating yearn.finance, and ask that person directly. For example, the maintainer of https://ycosystem.info should ask to be added there.

This would help in two ways:

  • Improve transparency.

  • Notice that I used “handling”. That’s because people added there should truly take the responsibility of handling certain tasks themselves.

Poll:

  • Let’s do this!
  • No.

Polll says “Yes.”

If anyone wants to write the actual code: https://github.com/iearn-finance/iearn-finance/issues/107

Nice! I like seeing the community get involved with github even if it is just reporting problems or requesting features! How it should be

great idea!

And I love that anyone can be on the team by submitting a PR – imo being on “the team” is pretty much permissionless, anyone can decide that for themselves. But just like anyone can say they are an artist, it still takes work to be seen that way by others – and to be seen as a good artist is something else as well.
