This is the vault contract for StrategyCurveYCRV.
The dai swapped for CRV is not directly deposited into curve.finance Y pool. Why is that? Why is the dai first exchanged for yDai and only then the yDai is deposited in the Y pool?

All DAI that is in the y pool has been exchanged for yDAI.
If you deposit DAI on the curve website, they exchange it for yDAI for you.
