After many successful adventures on both Base and Arbitrum, $GOLD has already been successfully deployed on Ethereum for a while (token address: 0x9deb0fc809955b79c85e82918e8586d3b7d2695a)
Yearn, together with Balancer, were selected as yield generating platform for $GOLD
The new pool is therefore a 60% $GOLD, 40% st-yETH pool on Balancer: Liquidity Pool (v2): 60GOLD-40WETH
It recently reached over $1MM in liquidity. We deployed a Yearn vault (Yearn Vaults) for it, which has an autocompounding strategy: GoldenBoyzCompounderStrategy (0xC44fa9DeFC3fCaef37ee83b2DC4570F77E5597b0). It has seen a successful full cycle in production (update_debt (tx hash 0x63680a902360a74bedd9be42eaa651615e2f579faa67687158af3f843c8fa490), report (tx hash 0xc3dc8ef91d6a379bb0bfa384fdb837228548fb4a396d7cc958c6d77761029354) and process_report (tx hash 0xafccfc507e6903d38a67f0e2c314fb7ff5c30a6e4bf22c6a2ba1d5a88736a743)). Full automation of such cycles is close to being rolled out.
And of course we did not forget about Yearn’s treasury; the vault’s accountant (0xb89c1D321eF404d086fB8D1d6EB0BE69ff1D504e) is configured with a 10% performance fee. First fee being collected by Yearn can be found at tx hash 0xafccfc507e6903d38a67f0e2c314fb7ff5c30a6e4bf22c6a2ba1d5a88736a743.
All points to a fruitful endeavor. The only thing that is missing is a veYFI gauge—then real capital can be deployed and serious volume can be generated!
