It depends on which tokens you would like to farm with.
Here are the stats on the yearn vaults:

The vaults are managed by the code. The Ethereum network gas fees are lower because they are shared by everyone in the vault. The vaults have 0.5% withdrawal fees.
If you have BTC, you could convert it to an ERC20 token and farm CRV in the Curve sBTC pool.
Or you could farm BAL on Balancer with many different tokens:

If we value YFI based on the TVL, it should be about the same as SNX:
SNX has a fully diluted marketcap of $1.34B
$1.34B / 30k YFI = $45k per YFI
If we value based on the current revenue, YFI would be the #1 governance token above CRV.
CRV has a fully diluted marketcap of $4.7B
$4.7B / 30k YFI = $157k per YFI

Neat, it’s still undervalued & even now niche between defi mostly due to risk concerns, I personally did heavy digging before getting in and it was a couple of days ago.
I would not use dilluted market cap, it’s an overly optimistic approach, would take the PE ratio and apply the price times the average defi ratio to have an approximate figure.

YFI hit $1B overall volume today.
#3 highest volume on Binance behind BTC and ETH.
It’s entirely possible we’re going all the way up into the top 10.
Is anyone else thinking about founding a charity once your YFI hit upwards of $100,000 a pop?

Roughly 40x if you bought at $1k during the farming distribution and sold at $40k.
That would have been possible with large volume too.
All 40x are not created equal. It’s very rare to see one with as much volume/liquidity as YFI.
