Yearn Finance ($YFI) on Polkadot

Polkadot is cool tech but so are all the other Ethereum killers; Cardano, Tezos, Algorand, Solana, Avalanche, NEAR, Cosmos, etc., etc., etc.

They’re all competing against each other and trying to catch up to Ethereum. Which one will win??

These chains are all building bridges to Ethereum including Bitcoin (Ren and Keep/tBTC). We’re already in the center of the action. Why move out?

I will definitely be in support of this if REN nodes are accountable to the EVM , currently they’re not. Also the market cap of REN must be larger that the total market value of bridged assets (all the ren[XXX] assets).

The Ren nodes will be accountable to the EVM in its next phases, which is fine timing-wise since yield farming in the Polkadot ecosystem will not take off anytime soon.

Synthetix, Uniswap and Aave are gonna use Optimistic Ethereum. All the layer 2s will build bridges to each other or die out due to lack of liquidity and composability.

Avalanche should be considered before Polkadot. Technically much better advanced.

Ya its better for yearn to make decision purley from the point of optimizing yield…on whichever chain that happens to be. With the kind of dev interest the project continues to attract im sure yearn can move swiftly when the time comes.
