[Proposal] Commission more yWaifu art

@gilfroy I love the initiative, thanks for putting this forth.

I think it’s important to distinguish between two types of art here:

1. highly sexualized female anime characters
2. anime style art featuring diverse characters of both genders

I am opposed to yearn doing any kind of official promotion with the first kind of art, and would support the second kind. And I think it would be cool to use this art form thematically for yearn, featuring building, innovation, and educational content.

That being said, I want to clarify that as they are designed now, yTeams are only needed if there is a need to delegate a specific on-chain decision-making power now or in the future. you do not need to be a ratified yTeam to get a grant from YFI holders to curate this art, or to ask yBudget (when it’s up and running) for funding. But if having a ratified yTeam helps in any way, go for it.

Thanks to everyone for all of the feedback.

The discussion has moved mostly to #yteam-waifu in Yearn’s discord. Here are a few updates though:

• Banteg is talking about funding some art on his own
• Everyone agrees that the characters should be non-sexualized
• Everyone agrees that the characters should inclusive to all gender identities
• People are interested in making sure the art doesn’t create conflict, but don’t want to conform to boring tradfi standards

Edit: Also, doesn’t seem like we need a formal group for this. Can come to a consensus through discussion and present to yBudget if needed.
