# YFV Rewards (DAI Vault)

Currently, DAI vault rewards are denominated in YFV. Why YFV over a different coin? Returns seem to be extremely sensitive to the market value of reward coins. Is the fluctuation in the reward coin market value a consistent feature of vaults?

Related, how/does the reward denomination change? When the vault changes strategies, do I as a user have to take any action?

Pardon the beginner question, I am relatively new and have been searching for this answer.

Perhaps you are looking on [zapper.fi](http://zapper.fi)? I’ve noticed they seem to default some of the stablecoins to display as YFV.

Otherwise, it’s not really clear what you mean.
