I am pretty new so hopefully someone can correct me here if I write something wrong. yCRV Pool This is the curve liquidity pool you can deposit dai / usdc / usdt / tusd into and get yCRV LP tokens. I think these tokens gain value from the fees the pool gets so as pool is used your value will increase. Tokens from that deposit can then by either put in the CRV gauge (staked via curve) or deposited into yCRV vault. The vault is a smart contract strategy for using those yCRV tokens, staking in curve for the CRV token. The CRV is then sold for profit (into ypool stable coins) and the process continues. ---

Thanks for your replay. Then, what’s de better option? Y Curve Pool has $700.000.000 liquidity and Y Curve Vault $96.000.000. Does it means that Y Curve Pool is more profitable, gives more yield? Thanks. ---

yCurve pool average APY since creation (4 months ago) ~9.7%, more recently around 1.8% [https://www.curve.fi/iearn/stats](https://www.curve.fi/iearn/stats) yCurve Vault average APY since creation (a few weeks ago) ~97%, more recently around 156% [https://py-earn.herokuapp.com/](https://py-earn.herokuapp.com/) [https://stats.finance/yearn](https://stats.finance/yearn) So yCurve vault yields are currently much higher, but the vault also carries more risk and has a 0.5% withdrawal fee. If you want to earn CRV because you believe they’ll appreciate with time then the yVault is not the best option, and you should just stake in the CRV gauge. If you prefer to stick to USD pegged coins then yVault is the better option. ---
