Ya curious to hear where we are on this proposal.
The Gitcoin team reached out after this proposal, and said they were kind of working on something around auditing, and suggested we should talk to see if we can combine forces.
What I told them basically is that: this must be a lean operation, we must not get bogged down in bureaucracy, we start lean and small and iterate as needed. So to get things going, I proposed to them the following:
The Academy ownership (equity) is divided:

70% to YFI holders
-
20% to Auditors
- 5% to the first founding auditor (Sam if he agrees to join)
- 4% to the 2n permanent auditor
- 3% to the 3d member.
- 2% to the 4th member.
- 1% to the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th members.

10% Gitcoin in return for handling operations and promotion.
Initially the response to this rough plan is very positive. Scott from Gitcoin is creating a group to discuss this further and put down more details. Currently Im waiting on him to herd everyone involved to that group.
