sweet. i strongly support a token split for reasons detailed [here](http://gov.yearn.fi/t/poll-yfi-split/11571).

but for many of the same reasons, i’d also advocate going further, and at the same time if possible & practical.

the market for mindshare and talent is _extremely competitive_ and due to get evermoreso. the magic of defi is incentives. imo ideally yearn would actively incentivize community contributions/development, political participation and (strategically) vault deposits with additional yfi minting.
